Narrative

Currently my mind is struck by the popular ways of writing/telling local history in a world of global capitalism. I am particularly interested in cases when violence is embraced as a tactic to cope with traumatic memory of a specific historical narrative. Not only the physical violence, but also the violent impact of the memory on psyche is a subject matter of my project that primarily focuses on North Eastern Turkey as the research site. Therefore my recent theoretical interests range from post-structuralist philosophy to political economy and to psychoanalysis.
