BA American Studies, U Szeged, Hungary; MA English Literature and Cultural Studies; MA in ESL. My regional interest: Central Europe, Eastern Europe and Eurasia Topical interests: Eastern Enlargement of the European Union, Post-socialist transformations, Political Economy of the EU., Household Economy and the Market. Theoretical interest: Social/Cultural Economy and Economic Anthropology I conducted fieldwork in Balastya, Hungary in a rural community in 2001-03. I am in the process of writing my doctoral dissertation.
