BA Psychology and Women's Studies, U Wisconsin, 1998; MA Women's Studies, Texas Woman's University, 2001 . I am currently writing my dissertation, tentatively called "Legitimating Gender: Expert Authority, Supranational Governance, and Feminist Activism in the Postsocialist Czech Republic." I explore gender expertise from the perspective of its practitioners, loosely bound through a network of professional, ideological, and personal ties, at academic institutions, NGOs, and government offices in the Czech Republic.
