Financial Aid
Over 50 percent of University of Minnesota Undergraduates receive some form of financial aid. These funds are administered through the Office of Financial Aid. Information on financial aid can be found at on the One Stop Student Services website. Visit the Admissions website for more information on typical costs and additional scholarship information for freshman.
Although CLA and the Department of Anthropology do not specifically offer financial aid, there are several scholarships and grants available to undergraduate students who qualify. CLA offers the CLA Internship grant for unpaid internships, as well as the CLA Continuing Student Scholarship. These and others can be found at the CLA Honors website. In addition, the Anthropology Department has been very successful with the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP). UROP awards monies to a student-faculty pair to advance research of both.
